Winter Solstice Tree Lighting

Posted by tivertonlandtrust

A family-friendly event is coming up at Pardon Gray Preserve in Tiverton! The Tiverton Land Trust (TLT) will be hosting a tree lighting to celebrate the winter solstice and our community.

We focus so much of our time preserving land in Tiverton; this upcoming event is an opportunity to celebrate the land we all love so much.

This free event is open to all in our community. Before the sun sets, one of our land trust champions, Scott Borowy will be taking free photos with Santa for those who register in advance. There will also be a hot chocolate stand and of course, a special tree lighting with a focus on giving back to nature.

Register for free photos at https://givebutter.com/WinterSolstice21 or find this link to click on our Winter Solstice Facebook event.

We are excited to see you in person, please let us know if you have any feedback for the Tiverton Land Trust and keep a lookout for an update on our current fundraising land preservation project, the Nonquit Pond Farmland Project.

With acres of outdoor space, this event will be appropriately spaced and mindful COVID measures will be taken according to the most current CDC guidelines at the time of the celebration.

Hope to see you there!
