Tree Health with Fred Perry and Clem Desjardins

Posted by tcallanan

Trees that have lived for decades are resilient but not invulnerable to today’s harsh environment, pests, and diseases. Join in this walk through the Arboretum with Fred Perry, Blithewold’s director of horticulture, and arborist Clem Desjardins from Stanley Trees Service as they showcase what obstacles are facing trees today and how to be observant for their health and vigor. They will focus on awareness regarding pests and diseases introduced into our area, plus introduced species that have trouble with our native pests and diseases.
