A love of Newport’s rich history and maritime charm (Ahoy, fisherman core!) inspires the elevated coastal aesthetic of Jill Zelensky’s shop, The Sailor’s Daughter. Walk through the solid wood doors to find a fresh space outfitted with engaging displays of everything from tote bags to tabletop to togs. Originally from the Granite State, Zelensky pours her love of the Ocean State into every detail, including walls displaying collected framed art of nautical subjects for sale – both new and antique, along with stationery, books, and jewelry. “Whether you’re a Newport local or visiting for the first time, my hope is that you’ll find something that reminds you of the beauty and timeless style of coastal New England,” says Zelensky. “Our goal is to offer not just beautiful products, but a warm, inviting shopping experience that reflects the charm and hospitality of coastal Rhode Island.”
