Providence's Southside Cultural Center hosts its Light Up the Arts Event Fundraiser including an evening concert with local artists, and a chance to learn how to line dance. There will even be a Zumba portion of the day! SCC hopes to strengthen the community through arts and bring artists together to raise awareness and funds for their theater.

The Talent Factory in North Kingstown hosts this event to raise money for the Stony Lane Playground Fund.  Come savor tasty food from local restaurants and sip spicy hot cider to relax and warm up. And finally, shop unique gifts, hand-made accessories and more.

Halloween isn’t the only time for murder mystery parties. Newport Art Museum is hosting Murder at the Museum, a Christmas-themed murder mystery party with music, games, gift-giving and plenty of holiday fun. Watch your back for any Scrooges lurking through the crowd, and question everyone while you search for clues to solve the mystery.

Revival! 2013 is an evening full of music. Featuring seven bands including The Felice Brothers, The Low Anthem and Anais Mitchell, the night at Columbus Theatre will have you singing and dancing to many different tunes. Also, sip at the bar as you listen to the live bands. All proceeds go toward restoring the theatre.

Sunday

With cold weather approaching quickly (or already here), The Providence Flea Market is moving indoors to Hope High School. The Brooklyn-inspired Flea is a hot spot for vintage lovers, treasure hunters and retro enthusiasts. Find unique goodies that no one else will have.
