TERPS Celebrates the Launch of New Attleboro Store

This Massachusetts dispensary starts with education to help customers find the right products for their unique needs

A growing company in the Massachusetts cannabis industry, TERPS Cannabis is excited to announce they’ve passed their post-license final inspection and have the green light to open their new Attleboro dispensary at the beginning of April. This second location (with a first in Wellfleet, MA) will offer a customized retail experience emphasizing the importance of terpenes.

Founded by a group of friends who shared a vision of approaching the industry differently, TERPS’ user-friendly atmosphere may not be what comes to mind when most people think of dispensaries. But at this education-focused store, staff go through extensive training to best help customers navigate the new terrain of purchasing cannabis products and finding the strain that works for them.

“It is so awesome to see apprehensive customers come into our store and watch them leave with the right information and products that can have a huge benefit to their day-to-day lifestyles,” says Marketing Director Sydney Adams. “It is not something to be afraid of, and our budtenders do a fantastic job of aiding in this process.”

Adams explains that the namesake comes from the lesser-known compound contributing to the plant’s smell and other unique elements. “Terpenes not only protect the plant as it grows, but they are what gives each cannabis strain its signature aroma and taste. For instance, the terpene ‘limonene’ can add a citrusy flavor or smell to the bud.” At the new Attleboro store, terpene displays will allow customers to physically smell up to 16 varieties and learn about the different effects they have before purchasing.

“Our goal is to create a customer-first retail experience where all consumers, new and old, can celebrate their love and appreciation for cannabis,” says Adams. And to celebrate the launch of the new store, join TERPS for a Grand Opening Party on April 23, a few weeks following their soft opening. Guests over the age of 21 are invited to enjoy music, food, games, raffles, and, of course, to shop their carefully curated menu of products.
