PPL Grand Reopening OPEN HOUSE

PPL invites you to our Grand Reopening OPEN HOUSE, a day of celebration as we showcase our new, completely transformed 21st-century library. Tour our beautiful new spaces, visit our Workshop and make your own creations, take in a performance in our new Auditorium, experience our open and light-filled book stacks. There'll be plenty of surprises and fun activities for the whole family throughout the day, including selfies with Terpsichore courtesy of TEN31 Productions, a new permanent exhibit, library scavenger hunt, special opening week giveaways, freshments & more!

Don't forget to visit our 2020 Exhibition "The King Is Dead*" in our all-new Exhibition Gallery. Stay for our Grand finale Stage Spectacle with BIG NAZO & STStation Shelf-Bots in our Auditorium at 4 pm.

Performance Schedule:

10 am — Doors open with a parade & performance by The Extraordinary Rendition Band
10:30 am — Eastern Medicine Singers Drum Circle performance
11 am - 4 pm — BIG NAZO STStation Shelf-Bots on the loose throughout the building & book stacks

In our new Auditorium:
11 am -- Children’s program with Christopher Kavi Carbone
12 pm – TAPA Youth performance
1 pm -- Black Storytellers
2 pm-- Mexican ballet & Bolivian dancers (Ballet Folklorico Guadalupano of St. Patrick & Kaporales San Simon)
3 pm -- Metamorphosis Youth Dancers
4 pm — Grand finale Stage Spectacle with BIG NAZO & STStation Shelf-Bots
