Jeremy D’Entremont will recount the history of New England’s historic and picturesque lighthouses at a program at Weaver Library on Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. His talk will focus on the colorful and dramatic stories of lighthouse keepers and their families. D’Entremont has written more than 20 books on lighthouse history and other maritime topics. He is the President of the American Lighthouse Foundation and the founder of Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses. The program is co-sponsored by the East Providence Historical Society, the Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse, and the East Providence Public Library. Books will be available for sale and signing.
