Get a taste of Japan in the heart of Federal Hill at Nami. This stylish restaurant offers a contemporary twist on traditional Japanese cuisine with modern New American influences. It's a fresh take, bringing some delicious new flavors to a neighborhood known primarily for Italian food.

That mixture of traditional and modern is evident throughout the menu at Nami. Start your meal with a classic Shrimp or Vegetable Tempura, or go a little more unconventional with the Pork Belly Sliders. The sushi menu features a selection of sashimi, nigiri and classic rolls alongside Nami's signature rolls, like the Pink Lady, with spciy salmon crunch, avocado and soybean paper wrap topped with fresh salmon and ikura (salmon roe). For entrees, enjoy anything from that old favorite, Chicken Teriyaki, to soon-to-be-favorites like Roast Duck with green apple wrapped in bacon, served with mashed sweet potato.

Nami also has a full bar with elegant cocktails to match the cuisine. The gorgeous interior of the restaurant was designed and accented by local artists. It all adds up to the total package at Nami, the new face of Japanese dining in Providence.

Can't-Miss Dish: Omakase Platter (pictured above): chef's choice of only the freshest offerings from the sushi bar, to be shared.
