Kathrine Lovell

Kathrine Lovell’s life is defined by art: Her ancestors were stone carvers in England, she studied painting at RISD, and she’s been a professional artist and educator for over 30 years. Today, she runs KATHRINE LOVELL STUDIO & GALLERY. “As a work- ing artist, I am most proud of just that: I make a living from my skill with the brush,” she says. In addition to classes, where she helps adults get in touch with their cre- ative side, visitors can view and purchase art – which features elements of gold leaf, pattern, and botanicals – in her studio.
