Jennifer Serafin and Pamela Lutes find inspiration in the confidence a woman radiates when she feels and looks her best. With a shared dedication to provide cosmetic and therapeutic spa services, the business partners opened Inspire Medical Spa & Wellness Center on Valentine’s Day in 2014. “It really was a dream come true,” says Jennifer. “It was important to both of us that we blended cosmetic services with healing treatments. We wanted to provide a uniquely holistic approach.”

The Inspire space, a gorgeous location in the heart of Narragansett, was designed with a mission to put clients instantly at ease. “We strived to create a warm and inviting place where there’s a real sense of community,” Jennifer explains. The welcoming location is coupled with personalized service that addresses each individual’s needs and wants. “That’s the Inspire experience – a truly one-of-a-kind environment where we put the client first,” Pamela says.

The professional and diverse staff at Inspire includes a plastic surgeon, a surgical nurse, licensed estheticians and massage therapists. “Not only do we understand the nuances and benefits of different types of injectables, we also have extensive medical training to ensure that our clients are getting the safest and longest lasting treatments,” says Pamela. Pamela, who has a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Saint Anselm College and is certified from the Esthetician Skin Institute to perform dermal fillers and injections, worked with a dermatologist, plastic surgeon and neurologist prior to opening Inspire. “I’m thankful that I’ve been able to maintain long-lasting relationships with my clients,” she says. “She has a following,” adds Jennifer. “We have been so fortunate to have the most wonderful clients come into our lives in the last two years. They’re really a second family to us.”

On the cosmetic side, Inspire services include injectables (like Xeomin and Radiesse) that smooth wrinkles and add volume and non-invasive and permanent fat removal via the state-of-the-art Vanquish procedure. Jennifer, a laser specialist, uses innovative broadband light (BBL) energy to treat a wide range of dermal issues. “It’s a powerful and effective method to treat the face, and all body areas,” she says, pointing out that it changes the molecular structure of the skin to that of younger skin, actually changing the RNA and DNA of the skin. “It works wonders for sun-damaged skin, vessels and hair removal.”

On the healing side, the med spa offers highly specialized facials that treat dermal concerns like acne and fine lines, and massage therapies such as hot stone and reflexology. “We believe that you should feel pampered and relaxed while you’re at Inspire,” Jennifer says.

As they enter their third year of business, the staff is committed to staying ahead of trends and treatments in the industry. “Staying educated on medical and technical advances is key,” Pamela says. “We encourage and embrace continuous education for our staff so that we can always offer the very best.” Inspire is expanding their already full menu of services in the coming months with additional nutrition and wellness components, as well as adding the most advanced skin tightening procedures available in the industry. “Nothing makes us happier than helping people feel better about themselves,” Jennifer says.
