The sounds of saxophonist, flutist, and composer, Greg Abate, and his quartet of piano, drums and bass will fill the Linden Place ballroom on Friday, December 16th at 7:30 PM. The limited-seating concert will include be-bop, jazz standards, Abate’s original compositions and some holiday classics!
Abate has experience playing with the Ray Charles Orchestra and the Artie Shaw band with clarinetist Dick Johnson during the 1980s. In 2016, Abate was inducted in the RI Music Hall of Fame. Accompanying Abate is Ken Hewitt on piano, Paul Del Nero on bass and Gary Johnson on drums.
