“When you think of the ultimate wedding or event, you may think of large guest counts, full weekend agendas, and over-the-top elements. The idea always seems to be ‘bigger is better,’” begins Nadia Sorvillo, owner of Imperfectly Perfect Weddings & Events. “However, there is something to be said for hosting an intimate affair – especially with the holidays around the corner.”

Based in Dartmouth, MA, Imperfectly Perfect Weddings & Events brings visions to reality executing weddings and events of all sizes. “Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved planning, creating, and organizing parties,” shares Sorvillo, who was born in the UK and grew up in Italy before forging her path in New England. “With over 20 years of experience in the marketing and corporate industries – along with planning weddings for various friends – it took a pandemic for me to find the guts to say I’m going to do this and start my own business.”

“I truly love all aspects of wedding and event planning, from creating a theme and color palette, to interacting with different vendors, and meeting great people,” she continues. Sorvillo knows that choosing a wedding or event planner requires a good deal of trust between client and vendor. That’s why, in addition to her keen attention to detail, Sorvillo is selective of the vendors she enlists to carry out the finer points of the day, involving businesses that go above and beyond when it comes to professionalism and detail, following her same work ethic.

Sorvillo’s personal touch sets her apart from other wedding and event planning services. “I want to get to know my clients. When everything is said and done, I actually keep in touch with most of them,” she shares. “I’m thankful to be a part of celebrations that continue to bring people together, making it possible for guests to capture moments from the day and take home their memories.”

With the holidays upon us, family time is more important than ever – and Imperfectly Perfect can take the stress out of organizing special gatherings, so you can focus on enjoying the day. “This is the time of year to spend with friends and family, but most importantly it is a time to look back and truly be grateful and thankful,” says Sorvillo. “It is also a time of year where I take the opportunity to thank my vendors who only add to my business – thank you, grazie, obrigada.”
