Candlelight, Chocolate & Champagne at Linden Place

Posted by sbattle

Perfect for a “date night” or friends night out, this Valentine’s Day themed tour includes sweet treats - and bittersweet stories of love arranged, love lost, love eternal

In February our hearts turn to love and our minds to spring. Choose the time that works for you, and then join us at Linden Place for a special Valentine’s themed, docent-led tour of the mansion bathed in candlelight. As we share the 200 year old history of the mansion, we’ll weave in the stories of Abigail, and Charlotte, and Rosalie, and Theodora—love arranged, love found, love lost, love unrequited. Sprinkled through the narrative will be a little insight into the secret language of flowers during the Victoria era. Beware the hydrangea! Life is short—eat dessert first— so we’ll offer a few sweet treats and champagne in the mansion’s dining room. Then, perhaps, you’ll head out to dinner at one of Bristol’s fine restaurants with that someone special in your life.

The tours take place on Monday, February 13 at both 4pm and 6pm. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 for Linden Place members, free for Colt Circle members.

Reservations are required and space is limited. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Linden Place office at 401-253-0390 or e-mail at jvelleca@lindenplace.org or purchase them online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/candlelight-chocolate-champagne-at-linden-place-tickets-533818093287
