June 1: 90’s alternative lives again at the Summerland Tour featuring Everclear, Marcy Playground, and Local H at The Strand.

June 1: Support Roger Williams Park Conservancy with an evening of Dancing in the Park, with music by Superchief Trio and dancing under the stars.

June 1: You know it’s summer when the Misquamicut Drive-In Movies are back in action, showing selections like Beetlejuice, 50 First Dates, and Pirates of the Caribbean; On Stranger Tides on Friday nights at Wuskenau Town Beach. Running June 1 with select dates through June 22.

June 1-4: The RISD Graduate School Exhibit lets you see the work of soon-to-be-famous artists at a free daily exhibition at the Convention Center.

June 2: Opening day of the Newport International Polo Series kicks off with USA vs. Poland, followed by the Bialowieza Forest Boar Roast Banquet, with matches happening every Saturday throughout the summer. 

June 2: It’s officially block party season and the Hope Street Block Party draws a crowd with two stages, food trucks, a beer garden, a rock climbing wall, and obstacle course, and live wrestling. 

June 2: Have fun flying a kite at Kite Flying Day at Jamestown’s Watson Farm, watch professional kite flyers show off their skills, plus kids’ crafts, a treasure hunt, hiking and more.

June 2-10: Enjoy Music on the Hill, a statewide music festival bringing together some of the best contemporary classical musicians for concerts in Cranston, Warwick, and Westerly. 

June 3: Head on down to the Providence Flea for an award-winning vintage and artisan/maker market featuring 60+ local vendors, live music, food trucks, and more.

June 4: The fourth annual Barrington Arts Festival will take over the Barrington Town Hall Government Center with exhibitions by local artists working in everything from oil paintings to sculpture to jewelry.
