The ATP World Champion Tour continues in Newport, with the Hall of Fame Tennis Champions. Spend a beautiful day in Newport while watching your favorite players battle it out.

The Wickford Art Festival is back for its 51st year. Artists from all over New England will come together this weekend to exhibit their artwork. Browse, shop and eat delicious local food while enjoying the sights in historic Wickford.

Soaring in at the top things to do this weekend is the Newport Kite-Flying Festival. Pack up a picnic and head to Brenton Point State Park to do some kite-flying, or just enjoy the view while demos and battles take place.

FRIDAY

Head down to Narragansett beach for the Philharmonic Summer Pops Concert, including classics from Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Williams, Webber, Sousa and more. This is a fee concert so, grab your lawn chair or blanket and get there early to guarantee a spot close to the stage.

For all aspiring wine connoisseurs, Sommelier Jonathan Feiler of Watch Hill's Ocean House will be hosting From Vine to Wine: Sensory Analysis. Learn how to taste, analyze the smells, flavors, structure and origin of a wine. Meet Jonathan at an intimate wine and cheese reception on Friday evening, and attend his seminar on Saturday.

SATURDAY

The Rhode Island School of Design presents Bourbon: A Dandy Drink. Tour the men's fashion exhibit Artist/Rebel/Dandy with co-curator Kate Irvin and sample a variety of "the gentleman's drink," selected by Bottles Fine Wine. Happy sipping!

Head over to Roger Williams National Memorial to see musicians Lisa Couto with Ray Cook and Lisa Martin with Brad Willard as part of the Downtown Sundown Series. Bring a blanket and pack a picnic to make it the perfect date night.

SUNDAY

Chifferobe's third annual Stars & Stripes USO Tribute Show comes to Aqua Lounge at the Providence Marriott.  This show will take you back into time to the WWII-Era with a pie baking contest and tasting, plus the Miss Stars & Stripes Pageant. Come in your vintage attire or swim suit and hang out poolside and dance, eat and sip on tasty cocktails.

Have a taste of something new at the First Annual Sidra Asturiana Festival. Sidra Asturiana is a natural cider from Asturias in northwestern Spain. Bodega Malsaña wine bar offers the chance to develop an appreciation for this unique drink and learn a bit of Spanish culture.

You’ve seen his mega-hit Comedy Central Specials Why Do I Do This and Let it Go – now is your chance to see Bill Burr Live on the Newport waterfront. Let loose, grab a cocktail and share some laughs at the Newport Yachting Center.
