Instead of letting the kids stay indoors and in front of the TV during their February break, send them off to a fun-filled week at camp. Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum is offering a week of camp for February vacation. The camp staff is helping children to get involved in active outdoor play such as nature, hiking and winter ecology. There are also indoor activities to keep children out of the cold while still moving, such as exploring the mansion, plays, games and winter arts & crafts. Keeping the kids going during break is a great idea if all they can do at home is read or watch television while their parents are at work. It is also a great way for them to make friends outside of school. If a week-long adventure is not for everyone there is the possibility to enroll in just a day or two and even a few half days of fun during the break. Camp starts on February 18.
