O’Rourke’s Bar and Grill is a Neighborhood Favorite

Posted

Driving through Pawtuxet Village, it’s hard to miss the inviting patio at O’Rourke’s Bar & Grille. The restaurant, in the heart of the village and on the shores of Pawtuxet Cove, has been a neighborhood favorite for more than a decade. Inside the 1860s building, there’s delicious food and a friendly, fun vibe waiting for you. O’Rourke’s serves pub food with a creative twist. Their signature dish is their Irish Nachos, which are kettle chips loaded with melted cheddar cheese, bacon bits, diced tomato and scallions. From there, choose apps for sharing, or get their crowd-favorite stuffies for yourself. Sandwiches, salads, burgers with hand-cut fries and classic entrees like Shepard’s Pie and Guinness Battered Fish and Chips round out the casual, delicious menu.

Love the Nightlife
During the warm weather, the patio at O’Rourke’s can’t be beat, and it’s almost always full of friends and families enjoying the fun, lively vibe. The restaurant hosts live entertainment every Wednesday-Sunday: everything from Irish folk music to bands playing Top 40 hits. Plus, they’ve got a great selection of beers, wines and cocktails (which, we hear, makes you a better dancer).
