Narrow River Preservation Association 48th Annual Meeting

All are welcome to Narrow River Preservation Association’s Annual Meeting featuring a presentation on Canine Detection of Human Contamination. Learn about the special dogs trained to identify sources of human waste (sewage). Once identified, leaks or seepage can be corrected, stopping contamination of waterways. Presentation by Karen Reynolds, President and K9 Handler of Environmental Canine Services, LLC and Heidi Travers, RI Department of Environmental Management.

Also included will be an update on the Narrow River Watershed Plan, presentation of the W.E.R. La Farge Memorial Friend of the River Award, and 2018 kayak raffle drawing.

7:00 p.m. Reception with refreshments and displays from organizations within the Narrow River Watershed, 7:30 p.m. Meeting, at Coastal Institute Auditorium, URI Narragansett Bay Campus, South Ferry Road, Narragansett, RI.
