Children of all ages can meet Santa Claus on Saturday, December 1, Shamrock Financial Corporation, 75 Newman Ave., Rumford, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
This free event is co-sponsored by Debbie Parziale of Shamrock Financial Corporation in conjunction with North Smithfield-based Total Asset Solutions and Finest Real Estate and Property Management.
In addition to meeting Santa and receiving a free photo with him, there will be light refreshments and other activities planned. Financial and in-kind donations are also being accepted at this event.
Event Co-Sponsor Ilanna Ball, owner of Finest Real Estate, said the holidays are not only a time to reflect on what people have, but also to help those with little to nothing. Ball is also sponsoring a Christmas Eve Dinner for the Homeless in Woonsocket. Donations would also benefit that event, she added.
“One of the best feelings people can have during this time is seeing smiling faces,” said Ball, who spends time throughout the year aiding the homeless. “This should be a joyous time of the year, and for some, that isn’t always the case. This event should be a springboard for people to feel good about themselves.”
Debbie Parziale, NMLS #705781, Loan Officer at Shamrock Financial Corporation, said the idea of demonstrating that their clients and the communities in which they work is a cornerstone to her business. She also said how excited kids of all ages get while meeting Santa is heartwarming.
“We are a family-based organization where the president and each employee truly understand what it means to be part of the community,” Parziale said.
