Jack Craig to present ‘Rodgers and Hart’ at Wingate Residences on the East Side

Musical historian Jack Craig will host a presentation on Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart at Wingate Residences on the East Side on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. American lyricists Rodgers and Hart worked together for over 20 years, composing more than 500 songs and collaborating on 28 stage musicals. Learn about their early days at Columbia University, as well as their landmark works of the 1930s. You’ll also get to sing-along to some of their greatest hits, including “Manhattan,” “Blue Moon,” “Isn’t it Romantic,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Bewitched.” This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
