Newport St Patrick’s Day Parade, March 15, 11am
The 58th Annual Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade is the state's biggest. It will kick off – rain, snow, or shine – on Saturday, March 15 at 11am from Newport City Hall and will proceed to Carroll Avenue at Saint Augustin’s Church in the heart of the Fifth Ward. The parade this year is estimated to last two hours and will include pipe bands, marching bands, fife and drum corps, clown units, reenactment units, and a whole lot more. Stick around after, as the whole town is basically one big party.

Workshop: Drumming of the Green, March 15, 2pm
Put on your favorite green outfit and head to PeaceLove Studios on March 15 for a spirited workshop of sound and imaging. Move to the beat and drive the spiritual snakes in our lives out of Pawtucket with Saint Patrick's Day style! St Patrick’s Irish Night, March 14, 7pm-11pm

Celebrate the Luck of the Irish in country manor house style at Aldrich Mansion & Estate. Enjoy the ambiance of a village pub in a formal library. Traditional Irish music by Devine’s Diner, and food stations of Irish cheeses, crudites, soup, salad, lamb stew, corn beef, potatoes, bangers, steak fries, soda bread, and desserts. Shamrock Suffle 5k, March 16, 9am
Start at North Kingstown High School. T-shirt included with registration, as well as a free pint at Gillian’s Ale House after the race!

Green Eggs & Ham Brunch, March 2
This is a parade fundraiser, and is always a great fun family event. Come on down to Newport's Hibernian Hall and enjoy the big spread of food. 9am–1pm. Price is $10 adults, $5 children 3-12, (under 3 free). Hibernian Hall, 2 Wellington Avenue, Newport. 401-847-8671.

The Villa St. Patrick's Day Celebration, March 17
There will be a corned beef and cabbage dinner and a corned beef sandwich platter. Wash it all down with green beer and other Irish specialty drinks. 272 Cowesett Ave, West Warwick401-821-0060.

St. Patrick’s Day at the Ceilidhe Club, March 16
Beginning with Mass at 11 am, followed by a flag raising and the American and Irish national anthems. There will be food, music provided by the Amadans, along with Irish step dancing. Club pub open from 2-8pm. Free and open to the public. 50 America St, Cranston. 401-944-3233.

Robbie O'Connell at Linden Place Mansion, March 21
Robbie O’Connell, a Clancy family Irish folk performer, will grace the Linden Place Mansion parlors with a performance on Friday, March 21, at 7:30 pm. Concert includes a wine reception to meet the performer.
