On September 21 from noon - 5:00 pm, Local Brew Events' 9th annual Fiddle n Folk Fest will take place in Haines Park, Barrington (near the boat launch). Featuring 10 bands (The Vox Hunters, Old Dog Daddy and the Dagnabbits, Hollow Turtle, John Fuzek, Drownville Station, The Lazy Sundays, Ed DesJardins, Oak Hill, Lost Set of Keys, and Old Fiddlers Club of RI), storytelling by Len Cabral, food trucks, craft vendors, dancing, and kids activities, it's bound to be a rousing event. Join the all-levels fiddle jam with Michelle Kaminsky from 10:30- noon. Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy the day overlooking Narragansett Bay.

For the second year in a row, the Fest is part of Playing for Change Day- an international event where musicians and music lovers unite for a day of music around the world. The day's events are FREE, thanks to generous support from the Town of Barrington, Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center, OceanPoint Insurance, Barrington Public Library, The Bay Team, New Harvest Coffee, The Black Pear, Proud Mary's Donuts, Grapes & Grains and many generous individuals.
