The Accidental Farmgirl’s wreaths welcome each season with style

Posted

Jessica Billings began making wreaths as a way to experiment with ideas that her aunt found on Pinterest. Before long, this pastime blossomed into The Accidental Farmgirl Co., a thriving home accent business with over 20,000 followers on Instagram. Jessica’s handcrafted farmhouse goods include wreaths laden with realistic-looking faux fruit and florals, all created in her Exeter home studio. Drawing inspiration from visuals and textures, Jessica also relies on the changing seasons to inspire her designs, and incorporates elements like pomegranates and red apples in the fall and winter, and lemons and green apples in the spring and summer. Jessica believes that every front door should have a wreath, but she also suggests hanging wreaths from mirrors, above mantles, on big chalkboards, or to accent any blank space in need of a little decorative touch.
