Eat With the Seasons at Chair 5

Posted

There aren’t a lot of restaurants like Chair 5 in Narragansett. Inside the chic boutique Break Hotel, the gorgeous restaurant serves incredible seafood in an art-filled space, that feels at once upscale and totally relaxed. Chef Tyler Demora has created an entirely new, expanded menu, and makes everything in-house – even the pasta and bread. He brings an elevated farm-to-table
sensibility to his cuisine: he personally selects the seafood off the boats in Galilee and from local oyster farms, and sources his produce as close to the restaurant as possible. The menu ranges from crudo, raw bar and charcuterie to inventive fine dining steaks and seafood, and casual beach classics. In season, dine outside by the hotel’s pool – though inside the gorgeous restaurant, it’s always summer.

For a more casual experience – as in, feel free to roll in fresh from the beach – head upstairs to The Rooftop, an elevated air conditioned indoor/outdoor lounge that occupies the top floor of the hotel. Their outdoor area has gorgeous views of the ocean, with creative cocktails and a simple menu of delicious favorites, like fish tacos, lobster rolls, raw bar selections and dressed-up Saugy dogs.
