1. Help Beautify a Beach 

On April 14th, join Clean Ocean Access as they host a beach cleanup at Cliff Walk in Newport on from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. They'll at the Surfer’s End parking lot at Second Beach. Volunteers of all ages welcome, family friendly, and no registration required. Newport

2. Get Enchanted by Princesses

On April 14th, kick off the Newport Daffodil Days Festival with two Disney princesses at the Newport Public Library! Rapunzel and Belle will tell stories, lead a sing-a-long and dance, play games, sign autographs and pose for photos. There will also be daffodil craft-making. Recommended for ages 3-8 and a caregiver. Newport

3. Get Crafty and Catch a Movie

On April 14th, enjoy a makerspace, movies and more at the Barrington Public Library. Drop in for crafts, button making and other surprises (while supplies last), and watch their Double Dahl film feature with Fantastic Mr. Fox, followed by and Matilda. Barrington

4. Cruise around on a seal tour

Cruise through historic Newport Harbor on a Save The Bay Seal Tour and take in 360º views of seals resting on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge. Grab a pair of binoculars (provided), and listen to expert guides offer an educational view of our marine visitors and the habitat they love. Newport

5. See Blithewold blooming

See dozens of varieties of daffodils in the gardens of Blithewold Mansion, as they open their gates to welcome visitors as springtime begins. The season unfurls with their well-known daffodil display, covering their 33-acre seaside estate with over 50,000 daffodils that delight visitors for nearly a month. Bristol 

6. Joyride on the East Bay Bike Path

If your kids enjoy biking around the neighborhood, perhaps it’s time to venture out to the East Bay bike path. The scenic trail stretches from India Point Park in Providence to Independence Park in Bristol with plenty of picturesque places to stop along the ride, and also accessible via various points in between. 7. Go Duckpin Bowling

Put a fun spin on bowling with duckpin bowling at Dudek Bowling Lanes. Come for the rock n’ bowl (Saturday nights, starting at 7:30pm) or bumper bowling, and stay for the arcade games and grub: chourico hot dogs? Yes, please! Warren

8.  Take a Swing at Monster Mini Golf

Get your putting skills ready for Monster Mini Golf; an indoor mini golf course featuring fun glow-in-the-dark animated monsters, plus pop culture artwork that was specifically designed for the Seekonk course. 9. Enjoy the Great Outdoors at the Audubon Center

On a sunny day, the Audubon Environmental Education Center is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and explore nature. Check out the walking trails and boardwalk, or continue onto the East Bay Bike Path to extend the adventure. Bristol

10. Take to the Sky
